It was done in colored pencil. I think it needs more color!
But I am afraid to spoil it!
I found a site where artists all create from the same reference photo. This challenge ends in a week. I think I will work on mine some more before I submit it.

I think you've done a really nice job with this, but I would add some deep purplish color in spots here and there if I were you. The contrasts in your leaves are really fine and really give the drawing lots of depth.
