Ever wish you knew when to stop? I thought a checkered tablecloth was all this Chinese Diner set up would need. But then it took away from my carefully crafted soy sauce and chopsticks.
So I went back in with a 4B and darkened everything up ... not sure if that was a good move or not. But I got to try my new Staedtler pencils!

Cat,
You've done a really nice job on this and even though I really like the soy sauce and chopsticks, I think the checkered tablecloth is great!!!

I like the tablecloth, and I think you definitely did the right thing by darkening everything else. Now they stand out against the busy background.
Nicely done!

Nice one!
Nice. I love the softness of the colors you use.
I love the red and black together, and the execution of the tablecloth - I think it really defines the piece.
I think the tablecloth adds a lot to the drawing! nancy
Well done, a complicated subject!
